Deep Blue Robotics Update: Tuesday, January 24

Prototyping:

 

Shooter:

The shooter team made final adjustments on their mechanism and continued testing their new prototype. Soon, we’ll have a full design for the mechanism. Keep up the great work!

 

Intake:

With a new, custom 3D printed part, the intake system prototype is just about finished!

Fabrication:

Electronics:

The electronics team continues to assemble their main board for the robot. This includes soldering, crimping, and routing wires around the board to get the desired effects.

Programming:

The programmers continue to work on their individual projects. Today was a good day!

CAD:

The CAD team continues to work on their job converting the robot  and mechanism designs into dimension drawings!

 

FUN FACT:

Koalas have two thumbs on each hand. Wow!
